Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project is described as pulverizing and repaving approximately 5.5 miles of Idlewild Road from County Highway C to County Highway H-O in the Towns of Nasewaupee and Forestville, Door County, WI. The work generally consists of pulverization, reconstruction, road-widening, repavement, shouldering, and culvert installation on the Town-owned roadway. Bidders are instructed to obtain complete digital bidding documents by direct inquiry to the Project Engineer. Alternate bid items may be included, and the low bidder will be the responsible bidder offering the lowest aggregate amount for the Base Bid item, plus or minus selected Alternate Bid items within available funds. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the full contract amount within 10 days of award or execution of the contract, if required by the Town. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, disregard nonconforming or unbalanced bids, and accept the bid that best serves the Town's interests. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period not exceeding 60 days after the bid opening. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
