Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Tukwila, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The project involves final design (50%, and 100% submittals) and bid-ready documents, along with necessary permitting for the Tukwila TIB Light Rail Access Project. The work includes but is not limited to pavement repairs, asphalt overlay, curb and gutter improvements, ADA-compliant upgrades, sidewalk construction and repair, installation of separated bike lanes, high-visibility crosswalk markings, lighting enhancements, minor drainage improvements, traffic calming features, intersection treatments, minor retaining wall construction, and right-of-way acquisition and associated coordination. The successful firm may also be retained for subsequent phases related to construction management and right-of-way. Submittals should be no longer than 15 pages (excluding dividers and resumes), formatted on 8-1/2 by 11 inch paper with a minimum of 11-point fonts. Larger pages (11 by 17) may only be used for charts, exhibits, and illustrations. Submittals must include the RFQ title, project title, firm name, phone numbers, names of the principal-in-charge and project manager, and the number of employees from each firm on the project. Proposals must be submitted by email and received no later than the specified deadline; faxed proposals will not be accepted. The City commits to nondiscrimination in accordance with the ADA and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Anticipated Award Date: February 5, 2026
