Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project consists of a full intersection redesign at Reading Rd and Summit Rd in the City's Roselawn neighborhood. This includes the removal of slip lanes, the installation of a truck apron, the shortening of pedestrian crossings, the installation of ADAcompliant curb ramps, and the installation of a new traffic signal. The project's work includes earthwork excavations and embankments; concrete flatwork such as curbs, sidewalks, and drives; stormwater improvements such as manholes, inlets, and pipes; curb signage installation; curb ramps; and other associated roadway construction items. Bids must be accompanied by a bid surety of not less than 10% of the bid amount and the successful bidder will be required to provide a performance surety of not less than 100% of the contract value. All bidders will be subject to the provisions of the Federal requirements regarding equal employment opportunity and disadvantaged businesses. Failure of the bidder to comply with these requirements shall be cause for rejection of the bid.
