Award: Teal Civil Construction for $637,763.49 Chambers County, Texas is soliciting requests for sealed bids from qualified construction firms or individuals regarding the expansion of McCollum Park, located in Beach City, TX. Sealed bids will be accepted from individuals and firms with the necessary expertise and experience. Instructions to bidders include: - All correspondence and communications regarding this procurement should be submitted by email to the Chambers County Purchasing Agent for clarification of specifications only. No authority is intended or implied that specifications may be amended, or alterations accepted prior to solicitation opening without written approval from Chambers County. - All questions regarding this Sealed Bid must be submitted by email before 10:00 AM on February 9, 2026 to to George Barrera at gbarrera@chamberstx.gov - Sealed bid responses must be submitted in duplicate and received by 2:00 P.M. on February 12, 2026. - All Bids must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked "Expansion of McCollum Park" on the outside of the envelope, along with respondent's name and return address. Sealed bid responses received after the deadline will NOT be accepted and must have a BID BOND and NOTARIZED NON-COLLUSION affidavit, or will not be accepted. - Sealed bid responses are to be submitted in person or delivered via USPS, UPS, or FedEx to Attn: County Judge Jimmy Sylvia, 404 Washington Ave/PO Box 939, Anahuac TX 77514. - No emailed or faxed sealed bids will be accepted. - Chambers County reserves the right to negotiate with all proposers, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
