Scope of work includes the expansion and concrete overlay of East McKinney Road east of FM 1405. Project will include a six inch (6") Concrete Overlay (Thin White Topping). Approximately 3,700 linear feet of 30 ft. wide road, including traffic control plan (TCP), phasing, and revisions to existing concrete driveways within Cedar Port Navigation and Improvement District (CPNID). Bids will be received online at www.CivcastUSA.com. Cedar Port Navigation and Improvement District will accept only electronic bids. Bids received after the closing time will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held, and attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative is required; no bid will be accepted unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 10 days after the date contract documents are received by the contractor. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download specifications, plans, soils report and environmental reports for this project. There is no charge to view or download documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the district and result in the best and most economical completion of the project.
