Renovation of an educational facility in Trenton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 65,937-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The project involves modifications to Buildings 2020, 2030, and 2040 at Davis Elementary School, located at 5491 Highway 301, Trenton, GA 30752. The work generally includes the removal and replacement of roofing and HVAC systems, as well as all associated electrical, mechanical, roofing, ceiling, painting, and other work as noted in the construction documents. Contractors are required to furnish all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of the project. Proposals must strictly comply with the requirements set forth in the Instructions to Proposers and must be submitted using the completed Proposal Form, which should detail a lump sum contract price for the full and complete construction of the project according to all contract requirements. Each proposal must include a fully executed Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (excluding alternates and unit prices) in the required form. Only licensed subcontractors may be submitted for any work needing a specialty or professional license. Proposals must be properly signed, submitted in duplicate bound notebooks, and accompanied by a PDF copy on a thumb drive. Each section of the proposal is to be individually tabbed.
