Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Bowling Green, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The scope of services for the project includes: working directly with the Auditor to establish grant files and set up financial management systems; completing civil rights files; working with County Officials/Attorney and all required agencies in completing necessary land/easement acquisition; scheduling release of funds meetings; attending meetings as requested; preparing and submitting all semi-annual reports; preparing and negotiating any grant modifications; preparing all close-out documentation; attending grant monitoring meetings; assisting in resolving any grant findings or questions; coordinating and assisting with pre-bid meetings; verifying all prime and subcontractors; assisting at bid openings; assisting with pre-construction conferences; obtaining all appropriate paperwork from main contractor and subcontractors. Instructions to bidders: Proposals should include a description of expertise, experience, and resources directly relevant and available for the project; a list of similar projects previously completed; references; resumes of professional staff to work on the project; name of the person in charge of the project; description of scope of services as per the description of services needed and proposed prices; a project timeline; and proposed fee for services. Proposals must also provide the name, title, address, and telephone number of individuals with authority to negotiate and bind the proposer contractually, and who may be contacted during proposal evaluation. Proposals must be submitted as three black and white copies, bound by a binder clip or staple, and clearly identified on the outside envelope. No binders, color, or bound copies will be accepted. Each proposal will be evaluated for completeness and clarity based on specified criteria, and interviews may be scheduled if necessary. The County reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals.
