Shiel Sexton is seeking subcontractor bids for the Ivy Tech South Bend Dental Lab Renovation project for work associated with the following bid packages: Contract No. 01 - General Trades: Scope includes selective demolition, interior concrete cutting/trenching, interior metal stud and drywall partitions, drywall finishing, specialties, doors, frames, hardware, acoustic/decorative ceilings, finish carpentry, casework, countertops, and caulking. Contract No. 02 - Painting & Wallcovering: Scope includes priming, painting, and wallcoverings. Contract No. 03 - Flooring: Scope includes floor preparation, carpet tile, LVT flooring, vinyl base, floor protection, and ceramic tile accent walls. Contract No. 04 - Mechanical: Scope includes plumbing, HVAC, and vacuum system for dental lab. Contract No. 05 - Electrical & Low Voltage: Scope includes MSMR of existing electrical equipment, electrical rough-in, electrical fixtures, fire alarm, and low voltage. Contract No. 06 - Fire Suppression: Scope includes revisions to the existing fire suppression system in the dental lab. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total base bid amount.
