This project involves a single lump sum bid with alternates for work at Anderson Trail County Park under the St. Joseph County Parks Department. Contract Documents are available for review and purchase. Bidders may visit the site by contacting the Department 48 hours in advance. Bids must be executed on the provided Bid Form and accompanied by a non-collusion affidavit, Form 96 of the State Board of Accounts, a financial statement, and a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the total bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish Contract Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount. The contractor must enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all newly hired employees through the E-Verify program and must not be engaged in investment activities in Iran. Bids should be submitted with one original and two duplicates in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid package name. The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, or resolicit quotations. The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder according to established evaluation criteria. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Building construction including park restroom, gatehouse and maintenance building 2. Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing associated with building construction 3. Pre-fabricated park shelter construction 4. General excavation 5. Asphalt and concrete paving 6. Fencing / Gates 7. Landscaping 8.
