Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.

Work includes profile milling of asphalt pavement along Colfax Ave from Sycamore Street to Hill Street with two lift asphalt replacement and resurfacing of asphalt from Hill Street to Eddy Street. Additional work includes improved pedestrian walkability, inclusion of a designated multi-use path, signal intersection improvements, sewer improvements, and utility coordination. All proposed improvements are described in the plans and specifications prepared by Jones Petrie Rafinski. Electronic bids must be submitted using the City of South Bend Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form, accompanied by an electronic copy of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid plus any alternates. The awarded bidder must send the original check or bid bond via USPS. Each contractor must comply with City of South Bend EEO Contracting Provision Diversity Utilization for each construction trade used on this contract and all other construction work in St. Joseph County during the contract. Bidders are responsible for complying with all submission requirements in Section 6-63 of the Responsible Bidder Ordinance. Woman and Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (W/MBE) are encouraged to respond. The City may request supplemental information and conduct random customer inquiries regardless of pre-qualified status.
