Site work for a transportation facility in South Bend, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Work for which proposals are to be received is for the Runway 18 object free area fence relocation project package 1 which is clearing and grubbing and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents titled Runway 18 Object Free Area Fence Relocation. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. All work is located at the South Bend International Airport, 4477 Progress Drive, South Bend, IN 46628. Bidders are required to be a plan holder of record having obtained the contract documents through the office of the Engineer. No Bidders may withdraw their proposal within a period of thirty (30) days following the date set for the receiving of bids. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price will be required. The Bidders must supply all the information required by the bid or proposal form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding procedure. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. The proposed contract is under and subject to Executive Order No. 11246 of September 24, 1965, equal opportunity clause, and to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
