Sealed proposals are requested for the Morningside Drive Storm Sewer Improvements. The work includes all General, Construction, Mechanical Installation, Labor, Materials, Tools, Equipment, Taxes (Federal and State), Permits, Licenses, and Service Costs required for the construction of the facilities. All materials supplied and labor performed must comply with the drawings and specifications prepared by the designated engineers. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for no less than five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount, to be forfeited as liquidated damages if the contractor fails to execute the contract or provide the required Performance and Payment Bond. The Performance and Payment Bond must be for 100% of the contract price and be valid for 12 months after final payment. Proposals must be submitted on the provided forms and include Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96. The owner reserves all rights to accept or reject proposals, combine proposals, or waive informalities.
