Reference Number 0000409942 The Town of Gypsum ("Town") is seeking statements of qualifications ("SOQ") to provide professional engineering design services for upgrades to US 6 between the existing I-70 Interchange and Valley Road (Segment 1) in Gypsum, CO. The work includes visualizations, preliminary and final design, railroad coordination, supplemental topographic survey as needed, hydraulics design, floodplain revisions, Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) investigation, utility relocation coordination, Gypsum Creek realignment, sanitary sewer design, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) work, pavement design, roundabout design, bike path design, and signing and striping for 2 through lanes in each direction of US 6 for the project limits. Project Location The project is located on US 6 between MM 142 and 142.7 in the Town of Gypsum. The limits of the project on the north will include the existing I-70 Exit 140 Interchange. The project will continue south to the Valley Road intersection and tie to the recently constructed roundabout improvements at this location.
