Eagle County Air Terminal Corporation is soliciting proposals for the procurement and installation of new boilers and mechanical systems. The Request for Proposals is non-exclusive, and the corporation reserves the right to purchase supplies or services from other professionals. Proposals must be received via electronic mail before the specified deadline. Interested bidders may schedule a site walk by contacting the provided representative prior to the submission deadline. All businesses will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids, with no discrimination on the grounds of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, age, or disability in consideration for an award. Question Deadline 03/27/2026 Any question, interpretation or clarification regarding this Request for Proposals (RFP) is required 7 calendar days prior to the due date. All questions regarding this proposal must be in writing to Wallace Oliveira, Airport Project and Maintenance Manager. Questions may be emailed to Wallace.Oliveira@eaglecounty.us Any design work or mechanical changes will be required to be approved by ECATs engineers. The Contractor shall use their industry knowledge to propose durable, quality, energy efficient, and cost-efficient equipment for installation that will meet or exceed code requirements and such other factors or criteria that are set forth in the RFP. The Contractor shall ensure all penetrations, including electrical, low voltage, and mechanical, are sealed using fire-rated materials consistent with local code and NFPA requirements and the area is cleaned of any debris during and after the project. All piping and mechanical systems which are no longer in use shall be removed and disposed of. This existing boiler is currently in operation, receives regular inspections and preventative maintenance, but has surpassed its design life, is expected to be near the end of its functional life, and has been budgeted for replacement. The quote should include all aspects of the mechanical drawings. The company must designate an authorized signatory to initiate all badge applications, for their employees that will be needing airport access while completing the project. The designated signatory must obtain an airport badge prior to becoming an authorized signatory for said company. EGE will initiate that candidate's badge application once their full, legal name, current email address and accurate mobile telephone number have been provided. The Contractor is responsible for all badge related fees, included but not limited to the initial badge issuance, replacement of lost badges, as well as unreturned badges upon project completion.
