Description

Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project generally consists of the construction of milling, paving, paving overlays, and related improvements to the existing parking facilities at the following sites: Bent Creek Park, Hominy Valley Park, 200 College Street, Lake Julian Park (Long Shoals Road), and Lake Julian Park (Hendersonville Road). Bidders must submit a certified check or cashier's check payable to the County or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by a corporate surety licensed in North Carolina for five percent of the total bid. The deposit will be retained if the successful bidder fails to execute the contract or provide the required bonds within ten days after award. Bidders must ensure no discrimination in employment. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Contractors must be appropriately licensed in North Carolina and make efforts to use small and minority-owned businesses. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. All applicable laws and regulations apply. Each bidder is responsible for inspecting the site and being familiar with the contract documents. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted.
