Demolition and site work for a civil project in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the decommissioning and complete removal of an onsite 20,000-gpd wastewater treatment plant and auxiliary systems, as well as various components of the sewer pump station including pumps, rails, and control panel, and connecting to the existing municipal sewer at Lake Powhatan. The contractor is responsible for taking possession of all decommissioned and demolished materials and removing them from the site entirely. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 and is set-aside for small business concerns. Performance and payment bonds are required at 100% of the original contract award price. Offers are requested in accordance with the terms and conditions, instructions, and evaluation criteria provided in the solicitation and attachments.
