Briefly, the work is described as: abatement of a portion of existing exterior windows at South Eugene High School. Late bids will not be considered. - Bidders are encouraged to send a test email to ensure accurate delivery. - The sent timestamp from the bidder's email account will be used for receipt time, and an email confirmation will be sent. - Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by an electronic copy of a surety bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount not less than 10% of the total bid, based on the total bid amount for those items bid upon. - All bidders must correctly indicate all addenda on the bid form. - Either with the bid or within two working hours of the deadline, bidders must electronically submit information regarding first-tier subcontractors furnishing labor or labor and materials, on the form provided. - Bidders are required to hand deliver or mail the original surety bonds, cashier's check, or certified check and have it postmarked within three days after the bid deadline. - No construction contract will be received or considered unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board or licensed by the State Landscape Contractors Board at the time the bid is made. A license to work with asbestos-containing materials is not required for this project. - For every bid $100,000 or greater, all contractors and subcontractors shall have a public works bond in the amount of $30,000 filed with the Construction Contractors' Board before starting work, unless exempt. A copy of the public works bond shall be provided with executed contract documents. - Each bid shall contain a statement indicating whether the bidder is a "resident bidder." - Each bid shall contain a statement that the contractor agrees to comply with the provisions regarding payment of prevailing wages and certify nondiscrimination in obtaining required subcontractors. - The School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance with requirements, postpone award of the contract for up to sixty days, waive informalities, or select the bid in the best interest of the District.
