Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.
Demolition, Structural, Architectural, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Site, and Landscaping work at the New Doherty Elementary School. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on the forms furnished by the Construction Manager, completed in full, and sealed in an opaque envelope marked with the bidder’s name and the project name. Paper bids only are accepted; electronic bids are not allowed. Each proposal over $31,321 requires a bid bond or cashier’s check for at least 5% of the total proposal amount. Proposals must remain firm for sixty days. Successful bidders for proposals of $50,000 or more must furnish a performance and payment bond for 100% of their bid. Bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and members of the board or the superintendent, as well as a sworn and notarized statement for the Iran Economic Sanctions Act Affidavit of Compliance and an Equal Opportunity Statement. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informality.
