The supplier is required to maintain specified insurance coverage throughout the term of the contract or work. This includes Commercial General Liability Insurance and Automobile Liability Insurance, both with an inclusive limit of not less than two million dollars ($2,000,000) per occurrence. The Commercial General Liability Insurance must cover various liabilities including bodily and personal injury, property damage, products liability, completed operations, owners and contractors protective liability, blanket contractual liability, premises liability, and contingent employer’s liability. The Automobile Liability Insurance must comply with legislation of the Province of Ontario for vehicles used in service provision. The Certificate of Insurance must: - Provide thirty calendar days' written notice of cancellation, alteration, or material change. - Identify the applicable activity. - Name Haldimand County as Additional Insured for applicable coverage. - Be issued by insurers licensed in Ontario. Maintaining required insurance is the supplier's responsibility, and receiving a Certificate of Insurance does not confirm its acceptance or approval by Haldimand County.
