This project calls for the supply and application of GSB-88 standard asphalt sealcoat with aggregate to seal Runway 14/32 and GSB-88 standard asphalt sealcoat without aggregate to seal Taxiway A and (4) four connectors at the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport. This bid also calls for the supply of marking paint, glass beads, and labor to repaint all lines, legends or numbers, in color and size, covered by the GSB-88 sealing program on Runway 14/32, Taxiway A and (4) four connectors. Question Deadline 02/13/2026 at 3:00 PM MT All questions that arise relating to this solicitation shall be directed in writing to purchasing@lhcaz.gov. The supplied GSB-88 standard will be at a 2:1 dilution rate (2 parts concentrated asphalt material to one-part hot water) and 4% polymer. The winning bidder will have 50 calendar days to complete this project once it is started. Sealing and interim white painting without beads at half application rate and yellow painting with beads at full application rate must be completed within the first 10 days of beginning the project. The contractor will wait 30 days for the seal to cure before starting final white paint at half application rate with beads. Traffic control will consist of full runway and taxiway closure. Lake Havasu City intends for this project to be completed as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible, to reduce inconvenience to the Lake Havasu City Municipal Airport users. It is anticipated that this work will be completed in the Spring of 2026, as temperatures and scheduling allows. Project Completion Date: 50 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
