Sealed written bids will be received for the 2026 Community Crossings Road Paving Projects, which include the following: Project 1: North Main Street from 8th Street to 15th Street (Transition from Town limits to County) Project 2: North Elm Street from East Washington Street to East 8th Street Project 3: South Penn Street from East Washington Street to East Tyler Street Project 4: North Sycamore Street from North Main Street to East Washington Street Project 5: South Sycamore Street from East Washington Street to East Tyler Street Project 6: South Walnut Street from East Washington Street to Dead End (South) Each bid must include an executed Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and a certified check made payable to the City of Fairmount or an approved Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. The contractor must comply with the employment eligibility requirements of Indiana Code 22-5-1.7, the contractor requirements of Indiana Code 5-16-13, and the Iran certification requirements of Indiana Code 5-22-16.5. It is the bidder's responsibility to thoroughly examine each item of the specifications. Bids not in substantial compliance with specifications will be rejected. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept the lowest, most responsive, and most responsible bid, make combinations of bids as deemed desirable, and waive informalities. No bid may be withdrawn for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time. Bidders may be required to submit information and data for the Town to determine their qualifications to perform the work. The Town reserves the right to reject any bid if the bidder does not meet qualification requirements or is unable to complete the work satisfactorily.
