Cresson Borough will receive sealed bids online via PennBid for the construction of the Keystone Avenue Sidewalk Project. The project involves the demolition of existing sidewalk and pavement and the installation of 490 SY of 4” depth concrete sidewalk, 930 LF of concrete curb, 4 ADA curb ramps with detectable warning surface, sidewalk and driveway tie-ins, roadway restoration, 6” sidewalk trench drain, removal and resetting of post mounted signs, appurtenances, and all related work. The contract includes all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor necessary for the construction as shown and specified. Bidders must comply with State anti-bid-rigging regulations and submit an executed non-collusion affidavit. The Contractor must comply with the Steel Procurement Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates, and furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount, along with evidence of required insurance coverage. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. The project is financed in part by a Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant and local funds; bidder obligations related to this financing apply. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
