Stevensville Public Schools, Stevensville Montana, will accept sealed bids for the Stevensville High Schools 9-12 Roof Replacement project. Specifications can be obtained online. Sealed bids must be delivered to the District's Business Office and clearly marked with the project name. A pre-bid walkthrough is scheduled. Bids over $25,000 must include a bid security meeting state requirements in the amount of 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder, after award, is required to provide an approved Performance Security Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Security Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. The contractor must comply with all fair labor practices and state statutes. Bids cannot be withdrawn for at least thirty (30) calendar days after the submission deadline, except as noted in the instructions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and determine the lowest responsible bidder. Scope ofWork: The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Removal of the existing roof and removal of nonused items (ie...solar panels). 2. Installation of a new 30 year warranty membrane roof system, including all necessary materials, labor, and equipment. 3. Compliance with all applicable building codes and safety standards. 4. Disposal of debris in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. 5. Coordination with the school district to minimize disruption to school operations.
