Conduct an interior drainage study for areas protected by the North Canisteo Flood Control Levee, evaluating interior stormwater conveyance systems such as pipes, grates, culverts, and low-lying areas. Identify system bottlenecks and flood-prone zones. The methodology and inundation analysis must comply with Title 44, Chapter 1, Section 65.10(b)(6) of the Code of Federal Regulations and associated FEMA and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers guidance. Coordinate with the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and USACE, utilize existing hydrology and hydraulic modeling, and incorporate mapping, modeling, inspection reports, and relevant data. Develop prioritized improvement alternatives, provide conceptual designs or improvement concepts, prepare cost estimates, identify phased implementation strategies, and address regulatory compliance. Deliverables include a draft and final study report, GIS-compatible mapping files if applicable, and a summary presentation if requested. MWBE and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit. Proposals must include a cover letter, firm qualifications, project team, relevant experience, proposed approach, schedule, cost, and references. Four hard copies and an electronic copy are to be submitted. Late submissions will not be accepted. The Village reserves the right to reject proposals, request more information, negotiate, or cancel the request.
