Site work for a water / sewer project in Mountain City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project involves repair of existing waterlines damaged by flooding caused by Hurricane Helene. The scope includes 12 project site locations within proximity of Mountain City encompassing 9 creek crossings and the installation of 2,200 linear feet of 2" pipe, 70 linear feet of 3" pipe, 100 linear feet of 4" pipe, 700 linear feet of 6" pipe, and 120 linear feet of 12" pipe. Separate sealed bids for the Sanitary Sewer Repairs: Force Main Relocation project will be received. Bidders must provide a detailed listing of all subcontractors, documentation that the prospective General Contractor and subcontractors meet minimum qualifications, and ensure subcontractors do not appear on the Sam.gov disbarment list. Mark-ups on subcontractor work or Cost Plus Overhead will be disallowed for reimbursement. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of their bid and be licensed as a contractor of the Town of Mountain City before starting work. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
