WisDOT requires assistance to build the Low Carton Transportation Materials Program in alignment with the Federal Grant Awarded to WisDOT in 2024. The Low Carbon Transportation Material (LCTM) Grant is to fund low carbon materials that create less pollution by reducing the levels of embodied greenhouse gas emissions, including concrete (and cement) and asphalt mix. FHWA's LCTM Program is available to State Departments of Transportation to fund activities and build a program that advances the use of low carbon materials and products. The eligible activities and program have the intention to yield ready to use specification of explore LCTMs with their Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), verify the developed specifications of the LCTMs by pilot projects and finally fully implement the LCTM program in Wisconsin for concrete and HMA The Method of Contractor Selection Has Not Been Determined at This Time.
