Separate sealed bids will be received for the construction of Water Production System Improvements, Well No. 5. The Contractor must have a Louisiana State Contractors Board license classification of Municipal and Public Works Construction. Sealed bids must be plainly marked and submitted on the proper bid form with the Contractors license number displayed on the envelope. All bidders must be registered with the Engineer and must provide all required documentation and forms according to the contract documents. The Contractor must begin mobilization and procurement of materials within fifteen working days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must sign the Bid, Certificate of Corporate Principal and Surety, and Bid Bond. A resolution authorizing a representative to sign the bid must accompany the bid. All addendums issued must be acknowledged. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days after the bid opening.
