The undersigned is required to furnish all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, and other means of construction, perform all work, and supply all materials at the unit prices named in the itemized bid. The work must be completed in strict accordance with the plans and the requirements of the current MDOT Specifications for Construction and any attached supplemental specifications. The bidder must provide weighing services and the location of the asphalt plant. The contract includes furnishing, mixing, and loading approximately 1,000 tons of asphalt mixtures (1100T, 13A, 36A) meeting Michigan DOT specifications. The bidder is responsible for CDL compliance for employees and subcontractors transporting material, as well as for testing material to guarantee specification compliance. If deemed necessary by the Clinton County Road Commission, independent testing may be required, with costs shared equally between the commission and supplier. Contractors must provide valid certificates of Workers' Compensation Disability Insurance and Liability Insurance naming the "Clinton County Road Commission its Commissioners and Employees" as additional insured. Payment will be made 30 days from invoice date, and vendors are required to complete ACH/electronic forms for payment.
