Furnish all necessary machinery, tools, apparatus, and other means of construction, do all the work, and furnish all materials to complete the catch basin cleanout project involving cleaning 628 catch basins on state trunklines between May and September. Work must be performed in strict accordance with the plans, MDOT Specifications for Construction, and any attached supplemental specifications. Specialized vacuum/cleaning equipment and GPS tracking capabilities are required. The bidder is responsible for CDL compliance for all employees and sub-contractors, material testing for specification compliance, and proper waste disposal at Type II landfills. The required insurance coverage is $1,000,000, with the Clinton County Road Commission and its employees named as additional insured. The bid prices must be firm throughout the current year. The Road Commission reserves the right to accept any part or all of the bid, award an alternate supplier, and renew the contract for additional one-year terms at the same pricing, terms, and conditions. Payment will be made 30 days from invoice date, pending approval. Bidders must comply with equal opportunity principles, and the Commission is tax exempt. Contractors must have valid Workers' Compensation Disability Insurance and Liability Insurance certificates on file before work begins.
