The Parchment School District is seeking a single contractor to provide and install electric charging stations to accommodate three electric buses. The work includes installation of a new medium voltage switch, a 750kVA primary transformer, Nema 3R 800-amp 480V service, conduit and wiring, and two dual charging stations with operating software. The scope of work includes: providing (2) 40kW DC fast dual output CCS1 charging stations, corresponding software and subscription, installation of all necessary electrical infrastructure and hardware (including underground cabling, transformers, service panels, means of disconnect, bollards, signage/striping, fencing/gates if required, and concrete pads), excavation/boring as needed, craning and rigging, asphalt/concrete removal/replacement, and covering all associated design, build, engineering, permit and inspection costs. Performance and payment bonds are required for contracts over $50,000. The project must comply with prevailing wage laws. Contractors must have prior experience in EV charging station installations for school buses, and provide references. All work must be completed by September 1, 2026, and scheduled in coordination with the district upon award and issuance of a purchase order. Bidders must visit the site, maintain specified insurances, and submit all required forms including bid form, legal status, references, familial relationship disclosure, Iran Economic Sanctions Act compliance, and prevailing wage law acknowledgment. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes as specified. The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and act in its own best interests.
