Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,750-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The new public safety storage building will be an unconditioned 1750sf pre-engineered metal building divided into two rooms with an 850sf covered lean-to carport. The work also includes all required earthwork, concrete foundations/slabs/drive pads, an on-site stormwater drainage sump, electrical, lighting, and security systems. The electrical and telecom connections will be trenched and tapped off existing panels in the adjacent ancillary building. Tree removal and landscape repairs will be provided by the University. On-site parking and laydown space will be limited. The site is located within the Public Safety lot. All access to the site will be coordinated with Public Safety. Completion Date: July 3, 2026 Liquidated Damages: $250 per day Trades: concrete, under-slab vapor barrier, bituminous damp proofing, thermal insulation, applied fireproofing, joint sealants, steel doors & frames, overhead coiling doors, door hardware, exterior painting, interior painting, fire extinguishers, metal building systems, electrical, site clearing, earthmoving, concrete paving, concrete paving joint sealants.
