Dixie County is seeking competitive quotations for the purchase and delivery of Lime Rock (crushed limestone aggregate) by the ton, with pricing also requested for pick-up at the vendor's location. The material must meet FDOT specifications for road base or general fill as applicable and be clean and free of contaminants. The estimated quantity is 30 tons weekly, but the actual amount will be determined by County needs. Pricing must be quoted per ton for pick-up at the vendor site. The term is for one year, with an option to renew for additional one-year terms. Delivery must be available within 48 hours of order or as mutually agreed upon. Vendors must be properly licensed and insured. Monthly invoices with tonnage tickets/weigh slips are required. Quotations will be evaluated based on price, delivery capability, quality of material, and vendor experience. The County reserves the right to reject any or all quotations, waive informalities, or negotiate with the lowest responsive and responsible vendor. Quotations must include company information, per-ton price, estimated delivery time, any discounts for large orders or volume, and proof of insurance and business license (which may be requested post-quote).
