The Town Council is seeking sealed proposals from qualified consultant firms in Florida with experience in Engineering Design, Planning, preliminary engineering, and Construction and Engineering Inspection Services on a Continuing Contract basis for various utility projects, including those funded by Supplemental Hurricanes Helene and Milton (SAHM) Funding. The selected firm(s) will perform general engineering services for projects identified in the SAHM application, serve as the Town’s Planning, Preliminary Engineering, Design Engineer, and/or Construction and Engineering Inspection Services consultant for projects as assigned, as well as for projects in the Town’s Capital Improvement Plan and those funded by the State Revolving Fund, USDA Rural Development and/or Hurricane Funding, Resilient Florida Funding, and Rural Infrastructure funds. The firm must be capable of designing and administering construction contracts, inspecting construction work and activities, ensuring completion of construction as required by Town, Federal, and State standards, plans and specifications, meeting permitting and other applicable agency requirements, invoicing timely and accurately, and handling all FDOT EEO, Wages, DBE OJT filing, interviewing, and other requirements responsibly. Proposals must be sealed, clearly identified with the firm or individual’s name, proposal number, and time of opening. Only sealed proposals will be considered. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informality, and award in the best interest of the Town. Proposals are only accepted from parties free of obligations and interests that might conflict with the Town’s interests and must be professionally qualified to perform the described work.
