Contract No. RPR-26 includes portions of pavement and concrete restoration to roadways within the Toms River Municipal Utilities Authority service area at various locations and times throughout the calendar year. The work covers final trench restoration, sidewalk repair, curbing repair, and other repairs resulting from excavations or trenches associated with utility repairs within the public right-of-ways. Bids must include bid security in the amount of ten percent of the Bidder's Base Bid plus all alternates, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders must comply with equal employment opportunity requirements, public works contractor registration, prevailing wage, business registration requirements, anti-kickback regulations, the Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act, and disclosure of investment activities in Iran. Bidders must also adhere to local public contract requirements, prevailing wage rates, nondiscrimination requirements, and the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission regulations. A certificate from the surety company stating it will provide bonds as required is needed. All inquiries concerning the work must be submitted in writing as instructed. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive non-conformances, or withhold the award for any reason.
