Renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Sorrento, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.
The work consists of the addition and renovation of Ascension Parish Tourism Center located at 6967 Louisiana Hwy 22, Sorrento, LA 70778. The successful contractor is required to enter into a contract with the owner and furnish all materials, perform, supervise, coordinate, administer, and be responsible for all work on the entire project. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any alternatives. A performance and payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract will be required upon execution of the contract. Bids will only be accepted from contractors licensed under Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law for the major classification of building construction. Bidders must meet all requirements of the State of Louisiana Contractor's Licensing Law, R.S. 37:2151 et seq. The Ascension Parish Tourism Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The commission encourages participation from small businesses, minority-owned firms, veteran-owned firms, and women's business enterprises.
