The project is expected to be awarded late April** The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials and performing all work in strict accordance with the plans and specifications for Airfield Electrical Rehabilitation at the Jackson County Airport, Jefferson, Georgia. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and General Contractor License Number, and must include a bidder's bond in the amount of 5% of the total proposal. A 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond are required at contract execution. All work shall be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from notice to proceed, with a maximum runway closure of twenty-one (21) calendar days. Liquidated damages will apply for delays. Bidders and subcontractors must be pre-qualified with the Georgia Department of Transportation. All Bidders must be on the plan holders list to be considered. Federal and state regulations, including Buy American Preferences and nondiscrimination policies, apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
