No definite date for the rebid.** The project consists of the installation of approximately 180 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, 480 linear feet of 3-inch PVC force main, five manholes, one 6-foot diameter wet well, two 4 HP Flygt submersible pumps, control panel, and miscellaneous equipment. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all other equipment and related appurtenances, including electrical service, site lighting, and water service. The contractor must provide the labor, equipment, and any other items necessary to deliver a fully functioning pump station as shown on the construction drawings. Bidders are required to inform themselves concerning Georgia laws and comply accordingly. The Contractors Affidavit for Electronic Verification of Work Authorization Programs form (E-Verify) must be executed and submitted as part of the bid package. Bids not conforming to E-Verify requirements will be considered non-responsive. Bidding documents are available for a non-refundable fee. Only bidders who are on record with the issuing office as having received complete bidding documents will be considered. The time allowed for substantial completion is 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed, with a maximum total completion period of 150 consecutive calendar days from the starting date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or alternative security in the amount of 5% of the total contract amount. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds per the contract requirements. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked as instructed. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to re-advertise.
