**Per Addendum 2 the bid date has been extended from 02/16/26 to 02/23/26** **Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 02/10/26 to 02/16/26** Sealed bids will be received from qualified and licensed contractors to complete renovations at 413 Kemp Street, Florence, SC pursuant to the specifications in this invitation to bid. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the bid number and project name. Electronic or emailed bids are not accepted. This project is funded by Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grants and is subject to state and federal rules and regulations pertaining to HUD, as well as Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) requirements. The City of Florence reserves the right to engage in discussions with responsible bidders whose bids appear eligible for award for clarification, and reserves the right to reject any or all responses, cancel the solicitation, or make an award deemed in its best interest. The contractor's attention is called to the "Equal Opportunity Clause" and the Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications, with specified goals for minority (16%) and female (6.9%) participation for each trade. These requirements apply to all construction work in the covered area, and must be included in each subcontract in excess of $10,000.
