Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Florence, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work to be completed consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the complete removal and reconstruction of Bishops Gate, and full depth pavement patching and surface milling and overlay improvements for Providence Court, Camelot Court, Tudor Lane, Ivanhoe Drive, Chaucer Drive, St Christopher Court, and St George Drive. All bids must be clearly marked with the bid name/number on the exterior envelope. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Only registered plan holders may bid on this project. Bidders must deposit security with all bids in the form of a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Owner, for an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The provisions of the security shall be as described in the Information for Bidders. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law and must have a classification of AP. All bidders must be properly bonded and insured, with proof provided upon request. No bidder may withdraw the bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening. Indicate if you are a minority or woman owned business with your request for bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any and all responses, to cancel this solicitation, and to make an award deemed in its own best interest.
