Renovation of a fire / police facility in Florence, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Remove current roofing materials and replace with a TPO membrane roof at Fire Station No. 2 located at 250 E. Marion Street, Florence, SC. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with "Bid No. 2026-01 Roof Replacement" clearly marked on the outside of the envelope for identification. The City of Florence reserves the right to engage in discussions with any responsible bidders whose bids appear eligible for award for the purpose of clarification. The City does not accept electronic/email bids; all submissions must be sealed and delivered physically. Minority, woman, and veteran owned businesses are encouraged to submit bids and indicate their status. The City's policy ensures equal opportunity and no discrimination based on race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age. Bidders must make positive efforts to provide equal employment opportunity for minority and women owned businesses. Preference is given to local businesses within the City or County of Florence, followed by minority business enterprises if no local businesses are eligible or able to participate. Local businesses meeting certain requirements may match non-local lowest bids within specified percentage guidelines to be eligible for award.
