The City proposes to install class II bike lanes, sidewalks, and landscaping along various areas throughout Coachella. The improvements also include the installation of a pre-fabricated restroom, a drinking fountain, and a bicycle repair kiosk at Sierra Vista Park; removal and replacement of existing skatepark equipment at Dateland Park; and installation of shade structures and a gazebo at 9th Street Park. Proposals are to be submitted in two parts: In envelope No.1, offerors must submit written statements of technical qualifications and a detailed work plan for completing the specified work. In a separate, sealed envelope No. 2, offerors must submit a detailed cost proposal for all services and materials anticipated in completing the project, including a detailed cost breakdown for each project task and sub-task. The City will shortlist one or more firms for further evaluation, and will only open cost proposals from the shortlisted firms. The City reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject all proposals at its sole discretion. Consultants are encouraged to keep their proposals brief and relevant to the specific work required..
