The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: construction of the containment area; dredging of both Tanners Creek boat ramps; and disposal of the dredged materials in the containment area per the provided plans and specifications. All work must fully comply with permits issued by IDEM, IDNR, and the USACE. The successful bidder is responsible for all required traffic control and site security during construction, ensuring that the facility remains open to the public throughout the construction process. Mechanically dredge 30,000 cubic yards of sediment from Tanners Creek, starting at the eastern boat ramp and continuing approximately 600 feet west towards the western boat ramp. Dredging will increase the current depth of the creek from 12 feet to a maximum of 18 feet (up to 6 feet maximum dredging depth). Transfer the dredged material to a containment berm on the northern portion of the property adjoining the Tanners Creek Parking lot, which must be constructed to accommodate 150,000 cubic yards of material, allowing for the future storage of Phase 2 dredged material totaling approximately 120,000 cubic yards. No tree clearing is permitted. All bidders must be pre-qualified with the City of Lawrenceburg's safety program at least 48 hours prior to the due date to be eligible to bid. The successful bidder must furnish an approved performance bond and a payment bond, each for 100% of the lump sum bid amount, along with written proof of insurance listing the City of Lawrenceburg as an additional insured, before receiving notice to proceed. Bids must include the completed Lawrenceburg Bid/Quote Form, a detailed project schedule, form 96 with financial statement, a 5% bid bond, and all other required City of Lawrenceburg forms. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the title of the project and the name and address of the bidder, using the bid forms identified in the contract documents. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses, waive minor irregularities, request clarification or additional information, and is not responsible for any costs incurred in preparing or submitting a response.
