Remodeling of an office development in Dubuque, Iowa. Completed plans call for the remodel of a office development.
The scope of the project is the removal and replacement of carpeting, modifications to the HVAC mechanical system, electrical work, installing new doors, adding hallway storage, modifications to existing conference rooms, modifying workstation cubicles, and expanding the security access control system at 7800 Chavanelle Drive, Dubuque, Iowa. Instructions to bidders include: sealed bids must be filed before 2:00 p.m. on the specified date in the Office of the City Clerk. Each bidder must accompany their bid with bid security in the amount of ten percent of the contract amount, and a corporate surety bond for faithful performance of the contract. No state sales tax should be included as an exemption certificate will be available. Preference will be given to Iowa products and labor as required by law. Minority business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. Targeted Small Business, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise, and Federal Prevailing Wage requirements are not applicable.
