Install two replacement and two new motor operated loading dock levelers. New pits will be constructed for new loading dock levelers. Install new dock levelers and associated control panels and disconnects. Dock levelers and control panels will be procured by contractor. The dock leveler basis of design is the SERCO HFC8740-20 with optional 20" lip, Energy Guard Weatherseal System, and VB620-11 bumpers. Install power and control wiring for the new loading dock levelers. All questions and requests for interpretation or clarification of the bidding documents shall be made in writing to the Purchasing Office. Bid documents are available electronically. Electronic bids will not be accepted; bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the MOA Purchasing Department and must include the bidder's name, address, city, state, zip code, invitation to bid number, invitation to bid title, and buyer's name on the outside of the envelope. Interpretations, corrections, or changes to the bidding documents shall be made by addendum and are not binding unless included in the addendum. It is the bidder's responsibility to periodically check for addenda. Bids shall be submitted prior to the time of opening specified to be considered. Late bids will not be considered. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in bidding. Bonding requirements are per MASS/MASS B or as per special provisions.
