The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. Removal of existing HVAC units identified and Installation of the Owner provided HVAC on the Perrysburg and Findlay Campus buildings as identified in the Contract drawings. Refer to photographic documentation requirements. 2. Preinstall meetings are required for each building prior to starting work in a building. 3. Project scope to be phased by building. Schedule to be overall, but also show detailed breakdown by each building. 4. Warranty service team must be with-in 1hr 5. Training for the new system is included with the Owner provided equipment. Coordination and setup of this training is the responsibility of this project scope. 6. Owner Provided equipment is listed in Section 011000a 7. Owner has submitted and paid for State of Ohio plan approval fee only. All other permits, fees, changes, etc. are the responsibility of the Prime Contractor associated with the work. 8. All buildings will continue in operation during the construction period. Contractor must exercise extreme care so as not to disturb the people and activities in the existing facilities. 9. Contractor shall coordinate with Owner and reach mutual agreement for material delivery and the use of specific loading dock doors and access to the project area. Materials shall be brought immediately to the project area via the designated route. 10. Contractor is responsible to maintain all access areas to construction and return all these areas to original condition upon completion of the work, including possible patching and repainting of entire wall areas. 11. Contractor shall refurbish/replace any modifications required to existing systems to good operational condition. 12. Contractor shall not disconnect any utilities or equipment without coordination with and approval of the Owner. Sealed bids will be received for HVAC Equipment Upgrades at Owens Community College, Perrysburg, Wood County. The project must comply with the State of Ohio Standard Requirements for Public Facility Construction. Bidders may submit requests for consideration of proposed substitutions for specified products, equipment, or services to the Architect/Engineer no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening. Prevailing Wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply. The State of Ohio's Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) Business Development Program participation is strongly encouraged. Bidders are required to indicate the locations where services will be performed in accordance with Executive Order 2019-12D (services within the U.S.), and affirm compliance with Executive Order 2022-02D (prohibiting purchases from or investment in Russian institutions or companies). Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Ohio Revised Code Section 153.011 apply. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in a Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) Program approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation prior to submitting a bid, and if awarded a contract, must comply with additional SUPR criteria described in the General Conditions. The contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the contract documents.
