The End Goal of This Broadband Infrastructure Project is to Increase Library Internet Speeds to at Least 100/100 Mbps. Components of the Project Include: • Fiber Broadband Installation - Installation of Fiber From Service Handoff Point to Internal Distribution - Labor, Trenching, Conduit, and Materials to Support New Broadband Connection • Internal Network Infrastructure - New Network Drops and Structured Cabling - Installation of Enterprise-grade Switches - Installation of Network Server for Library Management Systems, Content Caching, and Backup Storage - Managed Wi-fi System With Six (6) Wi-fi 6 Access Points and Controller - Managed Router Suitable for 1 Gbps Service - Backup Hard Drive (10tb Hdd) - Phone System Upgrades (if Applicable) • Construction and Electrical Work - Trenching and Conduit Installation - Internal Wiring and Mounting of Network Equipment - Associated Electrical Upgrades to Support Equipment - Compliance With All Applicable Codes, Safety Requirements, and Permitting
