Project Description 1. Unloading of materials supplied by others at the project site (approximately 4 trucks). 2. Removal of existing synthetic turf, infill, etc. 3. Removal of existing shock pad. 4. Removal of existing wood turf nailer. 5. Installation of field boxes and conduits for future communications. 6. Miscellaneous aggregate base and laser grading as required to attain proper planarity. 7. Installation of new wood turf nailer. 8. Installation of new Shaw NXTPlay Performance pad (material supplied by others). 9. Installation of new Shaw Game ON synthetic turf and infill (material supplied by others). 10. Installation and removal of track protection bridge. The work generally consists of unloading materials supplied by others at the project site, removal of existing synthetic turf, infill material, shock pad, wood turf nailer, and related components; performing miscellaneous aggregate base and laser grading as required to attain proper planarity; installation of field boxes and conduits for future communications; installation of new wood turf nailer; installation of a new Shaw NXTPlay Performance pad (material supplied by others); installation of new Shaw Game ON synthetic turf and infill (material supplied by others); and installation and removal of a track protection bridge. Bidders must review and become familiar with the job site and conditions prior to submitting their bids. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond valued at five percent (5%) of the maximum bid amount, a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the bidder and any member of the Board of Education or Superintendent, and a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions Act. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bid proposals, waive informalities or irregularities, or award the contract to other than the lowest bidder at its discretion. This project will not be funded by federal or state monies.
