Reference Number 0000416894 The City is seeking proposals/statements from qualified contractors to perform on-going and as-needed sewer maintenance services, in particular, sewer televising and cleaning, lining, and grouting. The project will primarily consist of cleaning, televising, and lining existing sewers (combined, sanitary, storm) throughout the City of Grosse Pointe Farms. Locations of several of the existing combined sewers to be investigated will be in the rear yards of homes. The City will require the contractor to provide unit prices for pipe sizes ranging from 12" to 48" in diameter with the understanding that the majority of the sewers are between 12" and 24". The project will consist of the following principal items of work and appurtenances as specified herein. The work will tentatively need to be completed between the early months of spring and the latter months of fall in each year of the contract. Each bid proposal shall be submitted electronically on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a scanned copy of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to the City of Grosse Pointe Farms in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Material, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bonds.
