Installation of new (virgin) granular activated carbon (GAC) and the removal, reactivation and installation of spent GAC. All GAC material and services will be utilized at the five (5) water treatment plants (WTPs) operated by the Authority. The Authority intends to secure all materials and services through a Contract, and all orders will be authorized by individual Purchase Order. The Contract shall cover a required two-year period beginning on or about the Bid Award Date and end 24-months later with the option to extend the contract for an additional four (4) one (1) year terms. Deliveries will be made to the following water treatment plant (WTP) locations: 1. North Rivanna WTP, 230 St. Ives Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22911 2. Observatory WTP, 585 McCormick Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22903 3. South Rivanna WTP, 2385 Woodburn Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22901 4. Crozet WTP, 4673 Three Notched Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22901 5. Scottsville WTP, 663 James River Rd., Scottsville, VA 24590
