The City of Springfield is seeking bids from qualified vendors to enter into a service agreement for on-call, as-needed, removal of existing window treatments and then furnish and install new roller shades/blinds and most other window treatments for windows located at various School and Municipal buildings located throughout the City of Springfield, MA. The City intends to award up to two potential contracts to the lowest responsible and eligible bidders. The estimated value of the contracts shall not exceed $50,000.00 per year. The initial term of this contract will be for one year, with two one-year renewal options to be exercised at the City's sole discretion. The City's goal of twenty percent MWBE participation applies. Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Office of Procurement reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
